About Us
Who We Are
About Interrecruit
At Interrecruit, we value Camaraderie and Individual development. This reflects in the rapid expansion of our family outside the welcoming coast of West-Africa. Established in 2014 and run almost solely for close to a decade, the Foundation has survived with a one-person administration. Our excellence, however, does not surprise us because we thrive on the unwavering support of you…our lovely family.
Be it nurturing new talents, finding financial solutions, or counseling and guiding on sports-study paths; We strive to eliminate challenges through individual support and broader scholarship programs. We gather and donate used or new sports equipment during our annual charity drive too!
We host age-restricted UTR tennis tournaments aimed at improving player rankings for college tennis; Open tournaments, and an annual charity drive. Our expertise in college scholarship negotiations is our stronghold but we also have our internal scholarship: The Paul English Scholarship as well as work/internship opportunities for students in the U.S.A., and workshops for sports coaches in numerous disciplines.
We are on a mission to ensure that talented athletes from Atlanta and Africa have the resources and support they need to achieve their academic and athletic dreams. The sports included are Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, Fencing, Track, and Wrestling.

History

The InterRecruit Foundation was established with the mission to nurture young African talents, particularly student-athletes, by providing them with opportunities to pursue professional sports careers or access affordable education through scholarships.
The foundation launched its official website in 2015, enhancing its online presence and providing a platform for information dissemination, applications, and donor engagement.

Facing financial constraints and administrative challenges, the foundation contemplated ceasing operations. However, recognizing the ongoing need for its services, the decision was made to find solutions to thrive and seek sustainable solutions.

Two years later, InterRecruit Foundation attained 501(c)(3) status under the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, allowing for tax-deductible donations and expanding its fundraising capabilities.

In response to increasing demand, InterRecruit Foundation launched the InterRecruit Study Abroad program to assist non-athlete students in pursuing international education opportunities, thereby extending its services beyond traditional beneficiaries.
The InterRecruit Study Abroad website went live with its dedicated “Study Abroad” platform (interrecruitstudyabroad.com), broadening its service offerings beyond athletics to support a wider range of students and generate sustainable funding for its scholarship and talent‐development programs

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Interrecruit Foundation reflects on a decade of empowering African youth through sports and education, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent and expanding opportunities for students across the continent.
